Just a short drive (22km) from Gothenburg you will find this lovely seaview studio apartment next to the lake & wilderness nature with several wonderful hiking trails, including the famous Gotaleden trekking path and several viewpoints and deep forests just outside the doorstep. The apartment studio is perfect for 2 adults but can take 1 more guest/child if needed. Small but very cosy studio, around 30 sqm located in the basement floor of a house facing the lake with panorama seaview from all areas. It contains its own pivate sauna with seaview, private entrance and parking lot. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a lovely private sauna built in natural blackstone and swedish asp wood. You will also find a really nice bathtub in the middle of livingroom from where you can watch the lake when taking a relaxing bath.
The apartment has a private entrance and is well secluded with full privacy from rest of the house. The outside terrace has comfortable furnitures and a roof protecting from rain and sun. Free parking. Seaview from all areas in the apartment, also from the private sauna, kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable floor heating in all areas. Bed linen, blankets, pillows and towels are included. The apartment gives a very fresh, relaxing and cosy impression.
Bathroom:
Bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower and floorheating. There is also a small window from where you can spot the lake when taking a shower. Shampoo, toiletpaper and soap for free. Towels included for all guests.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is small but fully equipped and functional. Complete with induction cook top, fan, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee Nespresso pod machine (coffee/chocolate pods for free). There is also oil for cooking pan and some spices in the kitchen. If you find anything eat- or drinkable in the fridge or lockers, please feel free to use it as complimentary on the house :-). Since the apartment is rather small there is no big dining table. There are smaller tables next to the sofa and armchairs that could be used for dining, and if the weather allows, you can sit outside in the morning sun. Coffee and tea for free.
Beds setup:
All bed clothes needed for your stay are included. There is only one room in the studio which means that the bed arrangement is next to each other. The kingsize doublebed takes 2 persons and has great seaview. The sofa can easily be transformed to a queensize double bed that can take another person. Children under 2 years for free. Please note that the apartment is primary built for 2 persons which means it could be tight when staying 3 persons.
Electronics:
There is a WiFi network available and also a smartTV that is attached to a soundbar system. The smartTV has a premium Spotify app (free music), Netflix account app (free movies) and a chromecast unit. You can also connect your own smartphone to the soundsystem directly through bluetooth.
Outdoor Jacuzzi:
On occasion and if available, a full size outdoor jacuzzi spa can be borrowed for a smaller charge (not included in the apartment accomodation/rate). The jacuzzi does not belong to the accomodation and is located on the other side of the garden. Please note that you need to check for availability in advance.
Nature & Surroundings:
There is a folder in the apartment that contains a lots of info and maps of the lake, deep forests and nearby wilderness area. There you'll find info about the surrounding nature and wilderness, trekking trails, nice viewpoints, hidden beaches, small lakes, fishing possibilities, restaurants nearby and much more. You also have full access to a canoe during your stay for exploring the lake Aspen and connecting river. Outside doorstep you have 3 forest trekking paths (5, 7 and 9 km) but also the beauitiful and famous hiking trail "Gotaleden" (72km). Don't forget to walk up above the climbing mountain (only 400m away) for a wonderful picnic area and astonishing view over the lake. You will also find a folder with an extensive guide to Gothenburg, must do and see, and its beautyful world famouse island archipelago.
Restaurants nearby:
Lerum centre has 2 very good choices of resturants. We especially recommend Piano Bar & Kvarterskrog. Brasserie Stationen is also a good choice. Book table in advance. There are also several pizzerias and chinese, india, thai, mexican taco and japanese choices. If you walk the 7km trekking path along the seaside cliffs (astonishing views) through the forest, from the apartment to Jonsered, you will reach Poppels restaurant and brewery. Here you can taste beers and eat lovely food in their restaurant. Recommended!
